FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARD AUTHORITY OF INDIA (FSSAI)
FSSAI Certificate is popularly knows as Food License in India. Every Food Business Operator in India is required to have Food License to operate Food Business in India. It is a mandatory license number having 14 digits in total.

- State License is required for Businesses whose turnover is above 12 Lacs but below 20 Crores. However, for Manufacturing Unit or Catering Services it is mandatory.
- Central License is required for Businesses whose turnover is above 20 Crores. For Export-Import or operations in more than one state, this license is mandatory to have for the head branch and State licenses required for the State Branches.
